Contract: Full-time, Office-based (Monday to Friday)
This world-class manufacturer seeks a permanent Financial Controller to join the senior management team. This strategic career opportunity plays a pivotal role in shaping the financial activity and financial strategy, driving forward operational excellence across the UK business.
About the Role
As a key member of the senior management team, you will report directly to the Finance Director of EMEA & APAC, responsible for leading the core finance function and overseeing a small, high-performing finance and accounts team. This is a hands-on, strategic role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all core finance operations, including transactional processing, financial controls, and reporting
- Manage and optimise SAP ERP and Corporate Reporting Interface systems
- Maintain balance sheet integrity and ensure accurate accounting practices
- Create and validate closing trial balances, including financial analysis and accounting reconciliation
- Prepare financial forecasts (P&L), cash flow projections, and annual budgets
- Oversee transfer pricing reporting and collaborate with tax auditors
- Ensure full compliance with HMRC tax filings and customs reporting
- Manage currency transactions across EMEA & APAC regions
- Handle bad debt resolution, credit requests, and quarterly E&O reporting
- Uphold Segregation of Duties and internal control standards
- Build strong relationships across internal departments, advising on financial matters and contributing to wider business goals

Essential Requirements:
- CIMA qualified with a minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven leadership in managing finance teams and systems
- Advanced proficiency in Windows-based software and automated workbook processes
- Strong working knowledge of SAP ERP
- Self-disciplined, approachable, and adaptable to changing priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- £65,000 annual salary
